Yumi Kagamihara, Interior Designer / Founder

Yumi has been featured in Architectural Digest as a Leading Designer of Seattle.

After earning her Interior Design degree from the New York School of Interior Design, Yumi gained valuable experience working as an interior designer for NYC based Commercial Interior Architecture firm, JGArchitects PLLC and the NJ based high end residential design firm.

In pursuit of her entrepreneurial ambitions, Yumi established Hatano Studio in 2009 after relocating to Seattle/Kirkland WA.

Prior to her career in interior design, Yumi spent over a decade working as a Programmer/Project Manager/Business Analyst for financial and consulting firms in New York City and Japan.  Her qualifications include a Financial Risk Manager certificate from GARP and a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems (MBA) from Texas Tech University

She served as an Advisory Board Member of the Design Thinking Program at Bellevue Collage Tombolo Institute.  She has a professional accreditation, LEED AP, from the US Green Building Council (USGBC).  People find her funny without her trying to be funny!  She also finds pleasure in creating glass art and is a certified yoga teacher.   You can connect with Yumi via her yoga IG account @yumiKyoga.  View some of her glass works.

Radu Corciu, Licensed General Contractor

Radu brings over 15 years of diverse construction experience, starting at a young age. From his early years as a painter in Austria to specializing in tile installation and eventually becoming a skilled general contractor, Radu has developed a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of construction. He maintains a hands-on approach, personally executing tasks such as tile installation, painting, framing, and more. With a commitment to excellence, clear communication, and attention to detail, Radu ensures the best outcome for his clients. His military service in Austria instilled in him discipline and punctuality, qualities he carries into his work. Alongside his professional pursuits, Radu holds a bachelor’s degree in Theology and enjoys spending time with his wife and six children, as well as engaging in exercise and playing chess.

Daniel Carr, Business Development

Daniel, an accomplished professional in Finance and Technology, brings over 20 years of valuable experience to the table. Beyond his expertise in these fields, he is also a talented classical music composer.  Please listen to his music.
